World Internet Usage

Given below is the internet usage around the world as provided by internet world stats website.
The results below clearly show that the developing countries are lagging far behind in the use of internet than their developed counterparts and a lot needs to be done.Especially in Africa where the usage of internet has grown more than 4 times and constituting 14.1% of the world population, still only 2 out of every 100 people use internet. In case of Asia too, same is the case but just a bit better. This shows that a lot needs to be done and there is a big opportunity in this area to cover Asia and Africa that constitute 70% of the total world population. But the real question who could take this responsibility?
I think this digital divide is one of the major factors that prevent education being reaching these underdeveloped countries
